Thanks for exploring my work. Let me tell you a little more about my journey…

Early Years

I was born and raised in NYC until I moved to Singapore at 13—without a clue where it even was. As a die-hard New Yorker, it was a tough shift, but one that changed everything. Living in Asia opened up the world: I traveled for leisure (Bali, Hong Kong), adventure (Bhutan, Verbier), and service (Manila, Dehradun). It taught me how to adapt, listen, and connect with people from all walks of life.

After several years in Asia, I knew it was time to return to the U.S. for college. I landed at Colgate University, a small liberal arts school in upstate New York. Going from Singapore’s buzz to the quiet village of Hamilton was another major adjustment—but again, I found my footing. I loved the close-knit community, the beautiful campus, and the freedom to explore different disciplines. Though I majored in Economics, I took full advantage of Colgate’s liberal arts approach—studying everything from Art History and Studio Art to Computer Science, Religion, and Music. Even on a small, remote campus with limited diversity, I found new ways to broaden my perspective through academics.

College

After graduating in 2019, I moved back to NYC and joined Guidepoint, an expert network firm. Over three years, I grew from a Client Services Associate to a Research Manager and then to Associate Project Manager. It was the kind of role that throws you in—and I loved it. I built strong client relationships, worked under pressure, and learned what it means to be genuinely accountable.

Post-College

Product Design

In early 2022, I left Guidepoint to follow a creative itch I couldn’t ignore. I’d spent months researching career paths that combined my love for problem-solving and design—and product design clicked. It blended everything I cared about: creative thinking, user empathy, and hands-on problem solving.

I’ve always been drawn to design—whether I’m sketching, painting, or obsessing over my apartment’s gallery wall. And with 3+ years of client-facing experience, I understand how to communicate clearly, ask the right questions, and build trust. Product design brings all of that together. I enrolled in Flatiron School’s Product Design program in April 2022 and wrapped up that December, working on several projects and labs that deepened my skills and confidence.

Today, I’m a Product Designer at BetMGM, working on the sportsbook product. I focus on mobile-first design, with work spanning navigation, transactions, responsible gaming, and live betting experiences. I also contribute to the design of our retail kiosks—physical betting machines in MGM locations across the country.
